Wondering who this Jason guy is?

Meet Jason Gill, a Portland-based world traveler.  He’s been to 44 countries so far with many more to go!  The majority of the travels he has written about on this blog are done using points and miles that he has been accruing from airlines, hotels, and credit cards using some travel hacking tricks he’s picked up along the way. He figures since he’s been able to do so much with them, he should share some of that info with you readers!

Tell me a bit more…

Jason has been writing about his adventures for a number of years now. He’s the primary writer of this site, Jason Gets Around, since he’s the current Jason actually getting around places.  Jason is a world traveler, a high-velocity adventurer chaser, an affable short storyteller, an amateur kickball player, a casual pool shark, a full-stack software engineer, a licensed pilot, and so much more.

This site is a collection of his best trips, tips, and tricks for traveling the globe while sharing some of his personal adventures along the way. He’s making his best effort of sharing information on the places he’s been and how he made those travels happen so you can do the same!

Would you like to meet Jason in person?

To meet Jason, you really just need to figure out first where he is going to be in the world. Perhaps the best way to find that out is to check out his Instagram: @jasongetsaround. He takes pretty pictures and shares them on occasion! Reach out and perhaps a meet-up could happen!
