136 Airports Down using OurAirports

136 Airports Down

136 Airports Down…only 55,092 to go!

I’m excited to share that I’ve got 136 airports down over my last 10+ years of traveling! A lot of those are small airports that I’ve flown into as a pilot usually in a Cessna 172! I’m stoked for so many more to see around the globe!

OurAirports

Whenever flying to a new airport, I log that into OurAirports. A simple website that lets you track all the airports out there and whether you’ve visited or not. The website also provides a lot of information about each airport that they pull, not just visiting history. There’s a way to comment on each airport as well, so you can share with others about a favorite airport you’ve visited, or keep people away from those you just find terrible.

If you ever decide that you want to go track your airports that you’ve been to yourself, go check out OurAirports. I’m not sure of another tool that does what they do. The site has changed since I started using it over five years ago! One feature that I loved was you could mark an airport visited as either a pilot or passenger. Now you just mark that you’ve visited an airport. It’s okay, but not nearly as great as before since I could show a different map for airports I’ve flown to vs airports I’ve only been a passenger. I’ve reached out to the developer, but no luck in changing as of today!

It’s a great way to see how much of this world you’ve been able to visit yourself, so get started today! I understand that tracking things like this isn’t for everyone, but if it is for you, I can’t recommend it more.
