Jason Masood Barcelona

Published by Jason on

Thursday morning (tomorrow) I’m leaving early for Barcelona to meet up with my friend Masood. What started as an April fool’s joke has now become a chance to get back to Europe to visit Spain.

It’s quite hilarious and spontaneous how it all came together.

See, I had jokingly posted that I’m moving out of Oregon…

Well, of course, that wasn’t completely true as I wasn’t actually moving.  Instead, that evening as I was hanging out with my friend Nicole trying to figure out where I wanted to go for my birthday, my friend Masood who had been in New York (an option on my list) hit me up and said he was going to Europe and that I should go.  Well, after a little bit of time that evening, I said yes, I should.

So, the next day I talked to my boss and bought my first first-class ticket ($6,600 ticket I got for $150 + miles) one way to Barcelona that evening.  Wow, what a crazy turn of events.  I never expected I would be going to Europe for my birthday!

I’ve always wanted to go to the south of France, but never put a lot of thought into Spain until I watched a movie, Vicky Christina Barcelona–the reason this is titled Jason Masood Barcelona.  Since watching it mid-March I’ve been wanting to go…and just like that, an opportunity opened up and I jumped right in!

Here’s hoping I have an amazing trip and a blast!
