Even though jetBlue primarily only flies domestically, as far as I’m aware, it is great to see coronavirus has jetBlue waiving fees! It’s great that an airline is stepping up early to help out its passengers by waiving change and cancellation fees.
I received the following email a couple of days ago from jetBlue stating that they would be waiving change and cancellation fees for travel completed by June 1st of this year.
Email from jetBlue Waiving Fees
Hello, Jason,
As you know, the safety of our customers and crew members is always our #1 priority. With coronavirus in the headlines, we understand that customers may feel some uncertainty about booking future travel.
To that end, we are waiving change and cancellation fees for all JetBlue fares—that includes Blue, Blue Basic, Blue Plus, Blue Extra, and Mint—for customers who book over the next two weeks (2/27-3/11) for travel completed by 6/1/20. If you need to cancel your travel plans, we’ll credit the amount in the form of a travel credit that’s valid for one year.
For more about this temporary policy, please click here.
We hope this offers you confidence when making your travel plans. Of course, we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you posted with any relevant info.
We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon.
Best regards,
Don Uselmann

A great way to keep people interested in flying during a time where everyone is on edge and planning to just stay home.
I myself have been on top of what is going on as I am departing in the next couple of weeks for a 10-day trip to Italy (Portland-LA-Rome-Catania) and as most have heard, Italy has been having cases pop up in the Northern region.
Be safe out there! Do what YOU need to do to not be affected.
