Last year, I decided to take the time to look back at 2015 and review how things went, so I decided to take the time to go over this year to celebrate what I’ve accomplished and to make some goals for 2017. 2016 started strong with high hopes and carried that way the majority of… Continue reading Year In Review: 2016

This will be my fourth Eurotrip (one, two, and three) and I can’t wait to go explore this amazing part of the world again. This time I’m starting on a direct flight from Portland to Amsterdam that I scored for… Continue reading Netherlands To Switzerland
Blue Lagoon Alternatives: Iceland’s Other Hot Springs
There are well over a million visitors heading to Iceland every year these days and the number one tourist attraction is the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. First Time At SXSW
This last week I went to Austin, Texas for work, seeing friends, and SXSW (South by South West). The trip didn’t last as long as I would have liked (like most), but in the time I was there, I had a blast. I’m actually quite exhausted from a week of getting up early to get… Continue reading First Time At SXSW
First Taste Of Chile
Wednesday (January 13th) I returned from a fast moving almost-three week trip around the beautiful country of Chile. This was my first taste of Chile, and for that matter, South America. The trip ranged from numerous long flights, beautiful wineries, fireworks on the beaches of Valparaiso, taking it easy enjoying the restaurants, cafes, and parks… Continue reading First Taste Of Chile
Off To Punta Arenas – Patagonia Chile
Sitting here at Gerardo’s place in Santiago, Chile. I’m getting my bag together to catch my flight for Punta Arenas with Lewis and Gerardo. Our flight leaves Santiago around 9:45pm and gets into Punta Arenas around 1am. Punta Arenas is the equivalent to going to Alaska, and silly enough, I only packed for mild-summer weather. … Continue reading Off To Punta Arenas – Patagonia Chile

This is a “year in review” recap of 2015 with one more… Continue reading Year In Review: 2015

Happy Times In Hue
I arrived in Hue by plane the afternoon of the 14th after a great time hanging out in Hanoi. A typhoon as coming into Hue the morning of the 15th, but I ended up having an amazing time and meeting some great people.
Las Vegas and Colorado
During the month of April, while I was between jobs, I took a trip to Las Vegas and Colorado. Both of these trips were a blast and I’m so glad I was able to take the time to make them happen.

This last week (Wednesday thru Tuesday) I was spending time having adventures on the Big Island of Hawaii with my younger brother, Aaron, and his friend Randy and if you continue reading, you’ll understand what an awesome week of adventuring it was!
Vancouver and Victoria 2008
After graduating from college at Oregon Tech in 2008 and before starting my first career job, I made it up to Vancouver and Victoria, BC, Canada for two weeks. British Columbia is a beautiful region of Canada. Victoria was a lovely island and a great place to bicycle. I arrived by ferry from Vancouver with… Continue reading Vancouver and Victoria 2008
